How to Book Your Adventure

Reservations Remember to book early and avoid disappointment. Contact the outfitter directly or contact your travel agent for reservations. Go to the webpage for the region of Alberta you wish to visit (North, South or Central) to see a list of outfitters and contact information. To ensure a personalized vacation of a lifetime, the number of guests on each ride is always limited. Some of the most popular rides can book up many months in advance, and it's not unusual for our guests to book thier return trip for the following year upon the conclusion of their trip. Call today!

Deposits Most outfitters require a deposit in order to secure your reservation. The outfitters will let you know how much of a deposit is required, although 50% of the total price of the trip (minus taxes) is fairly standard.

Cancellations Cancellation policies differ, check with your outfitter. Trip cancellation insurance is recommended and can be obtained through most insurance agents.

Sales, Accommodations & Taxes Alberta does not have a provincial sales tax. However, there is a federal 7 percent Goods and Services Tax, commonly referred to as GST, that is applied to most purchases in Canada. Visitors from outside of Canada can apply for a GST rebate. For more information, call 1-800-66-VISIT (Canada) or 613-991-3346.  There is a 5 percent accommodation tax.

Visas, Passports & Health Insurance Your travel agent can tell you what is required, however it is best to have a passport when travelling to Canada from other countries.
